Valley First On Board Again for Diaper Drive
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Valley First Community Bank board members, clients, employees and friends donated $2,151 along with more than 5,100 diapers and more than 5,800 wipes in the Ninth Annual Baby Diaper Drive.
This was the fifth year the bank has been a lead sponsor of the drive, which was founded by Valley First board member Eileen Rogers, who is also President/CEO of Allegra Print & Imaging in Scottsdale.
Valley First VP/banking services officer Michele Yates said the bank partnered this year with Cocopah Middle School where students and teachers helped collect diapers and wipes.
The Baby Diaper Drive, held in December in January, helps families served by Homeward Bound, Arizona's largest transitional housing provider serving homeless and domestic violence families with children throughout Maricopa County.
